The contemporary literature of the First World War is the subject of a talk by historian, retired teacher and battlefield guide expert Trevor Boag at Scarborough Library.
As part of the centenary of the start of the First World War, North Yorkshire libraries are holding a number of events across the county looking at different aspects of the conflict and the effects it had on people, communities and the way we see the world.
Trevor’s talk focusses on the literature, poetry and drama of the period. He is giving his time for free and there is no admission charge but a donation is invited to the Royal British Legion.
Trevor will be at Scarborough Library on Tuesday 1st July at 3.30pm. Numbers are limited so contact the library to book your place.
