To commemorate the wealth of First World War history and heritage in the locality,
North Yorkshire Libraries are planning a Pop Up Museum, to promote local history and the community resources in Scarborough.
We are planning this event for Saturday 14 June between 10:30am and 3pm at Scarborough Library and would like to invite you to come and/or send a representative.
We are inviting representatives from local and family history groups, museums, and record offices as well as individual local historians and other local groups, to display work, perform pieces, offer help and also to meet each other and share their findings and resources. We are also intending to offer the public the opportunity to come in with their own artifacts that could relate to the first world war.
We would be delighted to see you, and look forward to your reply. If you have any technical and furniture requirement we will do our best to accommodate them.
Kind Regards
Angela Kale
